Tufts Marketing Class Creates Final Project around InsightSquared’s QuickBooks Product
CAMBRIDGE, MA – April 28, 2014 – InsightSquared, the award-winning provider of business analytics software for small and midsize companies, was recently a client for a Tufts University undergrad marketing class. Professor of Marketing at Tufts University, Jack Derby, selected InsightSquared’s QuickBooks product for one team’s final project.
The class worked to create a marketing plan around InsightSquared’s QuickBooks product. The class presented this well thought-out plan to Adam von Reyn, Director of Marketing at InsightSquared. Their plan included ideas for event sponsorships, ads in targeted publications as well as a breakdown of the competition.
“There are quite a few Tufts alumni now working at InsightSquared, so when we were approached about having one of our products used for a marketing class, of course we said yes,” said Fred Shilmover, CEO of InsightSquared. “We are lucky to be located in Boston, a city comprised of some of the best schools in the world. ”
