Survey Finds 82% of Workers Use a Mobile Phone Daily for Business Activities

CAMBRIDGE, MA – December 11, 2014 – InsightSquared, provider of next generation business intelligence software as a service, today launched InsightSquared Mobile, its first mobile application, which serves as a companion for the InsightSquared web application. The app was created to put actionable analytics in the hands of InsightSquared’s customers who want to stay connected from anywhere, at any time.

According to a December 2014 survey of over 1,000 workers1, 76% of respondents say their mobile phone is a necessity for their job on a daily basis.  InsightSquared has developed its mobile app to help users run their businesses by the numbers, directly from their smartphones.  Features include:

Working from a smartphone has become almost a requirement: 56% of businesspeople spend up to three hours a day on their mobile phone doing work related projects, while 28% of businesspeople spend four or more hours on their phones doing work, according to the survey.  InsightSquared Mobile works offline to allow for nonstop workflow—users can check their dashboard while on an airplane or underground in the subway.
